Peruvian Avocado, Anyone?

We love the avocados that we get here in Tarma. They are large, always ripe, and delicious. Scott is holding the biggest avocado that we've ever seen:
The cost for this luscious, football-sized beauty? 50 cents US.

    YUM! I have the BEST recipe for guacamole (to go with my all around awesome Mexican meals). Can you bring me some of those home? I only wish!

    50 cents? Are you kidding me? This last week I went to buy avocados at the grocery store and they wanted $1 for small rock hard ones, $2 for regular-sized (by our standards) ones. I passed.

    I wish it were easy to import those into the states.
